Pelvic Organ Prolapse
1264 Ribaut Rd. Suite 200, 843-524-5455
Pelvic Organ Prolapse is defined as a weakening of the
pelvic floor muscles such that they are no longer strong
enough to support the adjacent structures, i.e.  bladder,
rectum and small bowels.  This is a common problem
amongst middle aged and older women.  By clicking
here
you will find a useful link to define types of prolapse and
briefly describe diagnosing the problem and repairs.
After reading the link above, feel free to check out our
surgery site and watch actual prolapse repairs being
performed.
