All three of our physicians are DaVinci certified physicians. In fact, our practice was the first to utilize this technology in Beaufort County. We continue to push the minimally invasive envelope for the postoperative benefit of our patients. With the Davinci Robotic System, our doctors have been able to send our surgical patients home in less than 24 hrs. Most are returning to normal activity within 1-2 weeks. With blood loss at a minimum, dime sized incisions, and faster healing times, this will soon become the preferred manner of performing hysterectomies (removing uterus) and myomectomies ( taking out fibroids and leaving uterus). |
